Went here about 2 hours before closing this past Friday 2/12/22 with 3 friends and we were seated quickly. The atmosphere and music was fresh, hip, and you can dress very casual or a little nicer if it’s a date or special occasion. The food was great, not overpriced, large portions, and came out fast! We shared the combo dumplings for the table and for my dinner I added beef to the Szechuan string beans which a lot of restaurants don’t usually do or charge a lot to mix because they consider it two entrees. But they were able to accommodate for just an up charge. It was delicious! Service was good and the drinks were pretty. I’ll definitely recommend to everyone and have to come back next time I’m in Dallas.

A great Asian fusion dining experience! We shared an order brown rice with of pork belly and pineapple and combo dumplings (pork, shrimp, and veggie), and garlic steamed Chinese bok choy. Everything was hot and fresh, so delicious. It was a humid day, so we sat indoors, while there was a lot of patio seating that was also dog-friendly 🐕. The atmosphere was clean, bright and colorful, and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I was surprised to see a full bar, noticed some great weekday happy hour specials. This place was nestled in a cool little cluster of eateries we plan to check out again. Definitely worth the trip to downtown Dallas!! Features: Lots of outdoor seating

First time visiting Trinity Groves and enjoyed dinner at Sum Dang Good Chinese. I didn't get a picture of my spicy fried beef, but it was delicious! We also enjoyed the Ants Climbing Trees dish and Hot Tea. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We had a great time and really loved the good. By the way, you can share these portions!

The soup dumplings are very popular and for good reason. They were very good! Food was very flavorful and good. Service was excellent. My only complaint is the wobbly table was sat at that continually tilted. At first I thought the maos pork was going to be my favorite, with it's huge chunks of pork belly and garlic, but then the Mongolian beef had such good flavor it was hard to pick. We finished with the fortune cookie cheesecake, which I thought was going to be just cheesecake with crushed fortune cookies on top. It wasn't. It has a fortune cookie crust you could taste, a delicious strawberry puree, huge chunks of cookie all over, and whipped cream on top.

Came here on St. Patrick’s day with my best friend! We each ordered drinks, she had a green dragon and i had the lychee tea. My drink was so strong per the menu but tasted amazing (dangerous lol) and her drink was surprisingly yummy to me. we got edamame and it was really good. i’m plant-based and was so happy to see all of their vegan and vegetarian options. the ma po tofu was so yummy and a great portion for the price! I was able to walk away with leftovers. Our server Dre was super attentive but I could tell they were supper busy. Glad to see this place is doing well, I plan on coming back!
