Hey, Foodies!

If you’re in San Antonio, Texas, and looking for the most amazing Chinese food, then be sure to drop by China Inn.

These gentlemen have been dishing up the good stuff for almost 30 years and show no signs of slowing down.

But it’s their famed Orange Chicken that truly sets them apart.

Let’s go into what makes this meal so unique.

To start with, China Inn is open every day of the week, so you may satisfy your Chinese food needs whenever you choose. They are open from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 11:00 am to 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on Sunday.

Let’s now discuss their Orange Chicken, which is the main attraction. This meal is distinctive. They start with fried chicken that is crisp and then add a sauce that is the ideal balance of acidic, sweet, and spicy. And get this—the sauce is made on-site! That’s correct; unlike other locations, they don’t depend on some pre-made rubbish.

The result is the most incredible dish that is so delicious, it will have you dancing in your seat. The greatest thing, though? It costs only $12.95.

But they also have other things going on than Orange Chicken. The whole cuisine at China Inn is wonderful. Kung Pao Chicken ($11.95), Mongolian Beef ($14.95), General Tso’s Chicken ($12.95), and Shrimp Fried Rice ($9.50) are a few of their other well-liked items. They also offer delicacies like Vegetable Fried Rice for $8.50 and Buddha’s Delight for $9.50 for all you vegetarians out there. As for their appetizers and deserts, let’s not even begin.

China Inn may be found at 4200 McCullough Ave. if you’re wondering where it is. And, for those who want to order takeout, their menu is available on their website at www.chinainnsanantonio.com. For reservations, take-out orders, or just to chat, give them a call at (210) 822-1529.

I wanted to try something different. I looked up a few places and China Inn really stuck out. It was a 45 minute drive, but definitely worth it! We had dinner plates servings were very large. Everything was super good!!! The soup is a very large serving not too much flavor, but soy sauce and hot sauce really jazzed it up. Overall the place was clean, the two gentlemen serving were super friendly. I highly recommend to anyone looking for some good Chinese food!! Definitely will be back.

We came at a very busy time and the service was welcoming. The staff is very friendly. The food was amazing! We got a lunch special beef and broccoli which I always order and it’s been the best! Flavorful and not super salty (like most places). We also got pork noodle soup, beef noodle soup, and chicken with Serrano pepper. The chicken with Serrano peppers were not spicy at all. It looks like they might have removed the seeds. The soups were delicious. And let me tell you the are not stingy! These are very big portions! I thought because it was lunch time it would be small portions but nope sure was not!

My wife Introduced me to this place a few months ago. It is now are restaurant of choice when it come to great Chinese food. Went this evening and, even though it was close to closing time, the staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out hot and fresh, with a huge portion that we were both able to share. I highly recommend it the next time you are in the mood for Chinese food.

Excellent little detour. We were going to Dimsum Oriental down the street but they closed for a break between lunch and dinner on a Tue so I remembered I wanted to try this place. Great choice. We just missed the lunch cutoff and paid dinner price but we'll worth it. Veggies and all meat, seafood and portions were superb, along with service and price foe lunch. 😋 We will be back!

The beef sesame chicken is sweet and really really crispy . Love it . The noodle soups are huge and I also like it . I’ve gone when they’re busy or slow and their service is always top notch . So polite and quick service . Restrooms are also clean which is a good indicator or a clean place over all.
