This place deserves 5 stars for the sushi chef alone!! Sam is an awesome employee. He is professional, courteous, and such a pleasure to talk to. I really would come back for him alone but the food was hella delicious as well. My first time trying soup dumplings and I was not disappointed. This is a hidden gem and totally worth a visit.

Tried to order food during opening hours and the order was cancelled 20 minutes after I placed it. I also tried to go there a different time during opening hours and the employees said they weren't open

I wish this place was close to me. This Oakland restaurant should be packed to the gills. The food was amazing. I ate my sushi so fast that I did not get a picture of it. The fried rice and noodle dish, I am still talking about to my friends in Sacramento.

I had the chicken katsu and ice cream for dessert. There was salad and miso soup before the chicken katsu and rice. The salad had way way too much dressing. About a third of what I got would've been plenty. Also, the dressing was like a syrup. The miso soup was as expected. The chicken katsu was really tender and came with some sauce. It was delicious and there was a big plate of it. The rice it came with was cooked well. They ran out of cheesecake and my server said ice cream is the only dessert they had. It was average vanilla ice cream. The whole restaurant, including the restroom, was pretty clean. They seemed a little short-staffed and I did have to wait about ten minutes between dishes. My total was $26.35 before tip and seemed like a fair price. Overall, my experience was pretty good, but could've been better.

Good food, good price, and good service. The staffs gave great suggestions according to your needs. I had sake don (raw salmon rice bowl) and it’s both tasty and good for the price. One downside is that the location is not too perfect. The restrooms in the building this restaurant is located in is a bit sketchy. I would not suggest any lady to go alone.
