Wow! I came here after reading all the positive reviews. It was super easy to find parking and very central. The actual restaurant is pretty small but I went at a time it wasn’t crowded and it was perfect. Our waiter was extremely friendly made great suggestions and even helped when it came to splitting a dish. I had the Thai tea which was tasty and the soup was not too salty. The orange chicken was so good!! I would definitely get this to go as well. Very fresh tasting. 10/10

So do yourself a favor and stop reading reviews. You need to try this place! Best Chinese food I've ever had. Worth the flight from Texas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wish we had this back home. Caution though, the Wonton Chili is a bit spicy. Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and tight

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, and this is coming from someone who lives in the SGV! It’s no wonder this restaurant has remained a staple of Los Angeles for over 30 years! They do all my favorites right; from the creamy walnut shrimp to the crispy mandarin chicken, you really can’t go wrong at Hoys.
