The food was similar to food we ate in northern China years ago. Wheat was the base, no rice dishes. Folks were nice, service ok. We probably needed to read the menu closer, we ate family style, but ordered similar dishes, pot stickers are dumplings fried, was taught that two weeks ago, but forgot, this would of provided more variety. Get a cold dish like the cucumbers it makes a great palate cleanser between dishes. The food was, interesting, a little different, tasted good. For something different worth a trip.

This place is legit. If you are used to eating American Chinese food, you will not recognize anything on this menu. The beef noodle soup is amazing, and I highly suggest it. Whatever they made the broth with has so many flavors in it! Also suggest the onion pancakes and the triple dumplings. They have a lot of dumplings and steamed buns to choose from, and you can tell everything is homemade.

I had lunch at this very humble Chinese restaurant, I had the chicken and carrot dumplings and I have to say they were some of the best I have ever had and I have tried dumplings from many Tucson restaurants. The dough is nice and firm and the filling was very tender and flavourful. Give them a try!

Great little restaurant in an out-of-the-way shopping plaza off of Speedway Boulevard. Look for the Big 5 sporting goods store, and you're in the right spot. Simple menu of mostly Chinese noodle specialties. We had the pork and shrimp dumplings, which were steamed. They were overflowing with juices and flavors were outstanding. We also shared an order of pork and scallion meat pies which were fried to a golden brown on the outside and streaming hot inside. These were very savory and sort of reminded us of English sausage rolls (that's a good thing!). The owners appeared to speak very little English but we were able to communicate just fine and the service was very attentive. Can't wait to come back with a larger group so we can try more of the dishes.

Gem! Read about this place opening on Tucson Foodie, tried it out since it was near my place. I got my food to go, trying out the noodles, a cold salad, the pie and some bun. Everything was good, one star markdown for the bun being slightly under cooked, and the take away time being lengthy (35 mins). Noodles are delightful, and the pie (like an empanada) was so unique, I've never even seen that on any other Chinese menus before! Also, the cold cucumber salad was probably my unexpectedly favorite part, it was fresh, but seasoned with a very nice slow building spice. Confession: I drank the juice.
